Abstract

The article delves into that the water anxieties and scarceness in Pakistan are principally elucidated in term of supply-demand gap, hence the gross mismanagement and lack of sustainable practices are the core issues haunting the state. Dynamic management of water resources stresses on skills development, proficiency enrichment, effective disaster management and relief, effectual policy making, employment of modern technologies to foster water resources conservation, institutional integration and collaborative tactics to grasp water stakeholders of all provinces to enhance productivity. As, the country lack capacity to inject additional water into national grid, thus the uncertainties of water are escalating political flimsiness, civil turbulence and socio-economic vulnerabilities. The harmonious interactions can only be attained by effective reforms to address the weakness of governance, political and provincial deadlock on water resources‟ allocation, incompetence of institutions and grave and violent conflicts based on water resources distribution. This is qualitative research, and the data has been collected mostly, from secondary sources.
